We expected a surge of early entrants to the NBA Draft after the NCAA changed its rules, allowing players to withdraw and return to school after the combine following every collegiate season, provided they haven’t signed with an agent. With the new rule, there is little risk for the players to enter the draft and receive real feedback from NBA teams. This year, the first with these new rules, 162 players have submitted their names for early entry. The NBA has released the full list.

NBA says 162 players – 117 players from colleges/post-graduate institutions & 45 international – filed early entry candidates for draft.
